2023 BET Awards Nominations: Full List – Billboard

On Thursday (June 8), BET introduced the nominees for the twenty third annual BET Awards, with Drake and GloRilla main the pack.

The “Search & Rescue” rapper clocks in at seven nominations, together with greatest male hip-hop artist, greatest male R&B/pop artist, greatest group with 21 Savage and album of the yr for Her Loss with 21 Savage. Like Drake, GloRilla’s nominations are cut up fairly evenly between solo and collaborative efforts, together with greatest feminine hip hop artist, greatest new artist, album of the yr for Anyways, Life’s Great, video of the yr for “Tomorrow 2” with Cardi B, and two nominations for greatest collaboration (“F.N.F. Let’s Go” and “Tomorrow 2”).

Last yr, GloRilla took residence greatest breakthrough hip hop artist of the yr award on the BET Hip Hop Awards. 

Following GloRilla and Drake, 21 Savage and Lizzo boast the third-highest variety of nominations, with 5 every, and are adopted by Beyoncé, Burna Boy, Chris Brown, Ice Spice and SZA, with 4 nominations every.

Voting for the Viewer’s Choice classes will begin on June 8 and finish the day of the present, June 25, at 6:30 PM PT.
