The 2023 National Book Awards had been introduced final evening throughout a ceremony hosted by LeVar Burton, with Oprah Winfrey as a visitor speaker. Since 1950, the National Book Awards have awarded one of the best writing in America, and final evening’s ceremony granted awards in 5 classes: Fiction, Nonfiction, Poetry, Translated Literature, and Young People’s Literature.
