Nigerian singer Innocent Idibia, popularly referred to as 2baba, has revealed why he constructed a multi-million naira music studio on the Obafemi Awolowo University, OAU, Ile-Ife, Osun State.

Recall, The musician, who felt compelled to contribute his justifiable share to the nation’s educational development, established a state-of-the-art music studio inside the college.

During a breakfast chat hosted by The 2baba Foundation in Lagos State, the musician stated that he constructed the studio to repay the college’s kindness.

He stated:-

“I constructed the multi-million [naira] music studio in OAU as a result of I used to be given an honorary diploma as a Fellow of the School of Music of the college.

“That was an enormous honour for me, and I promised them I used to be going to construct a typical music studio for the varsity, which I did.

“My aim is to give the students a standard space for creativity, and I hope the next generation of superstars will generate from there. Also, my next album will be packaged in that studio.”
