Controversy arises because the well-known Afrobeat star, Davido Adeleke lists the Next Big 5 Artistes within the music business whereas snubbing some.
During a latest interview with Omega, Davido was requested to call the following huge 5 artistes from Nigeria; his response nevertheless results in controversy.
In his reply, he omitted Fireboy DML, Tems, and Omah Lay from his record, which precipitated a backlash on social media.
He talked about Rema, Buju, Ayra Starr, Victony, and Asake because the artists he believes will dominate the music business as the following huge 5. He acknowledged that this was his private opinion and acknowledged that the way forward for Afrobeats appears to be like promising.

However, followers expressed their discontent on social media, criticizing Davido for snubbing Fireboy, Tems, and Omah Lay in his choice.
