Nigerian singer Chukwuka Ekweani, higher often called CKay, has attributed the worldwide success of afrobeat hit songs to the trailblazing results of the music of Tekno and Runtown.
He said this by way of his Twitter deal with on Friday, June 16, 2023, affirming that sometime sooner or later, the Nigerian music business would sit at a roundtable to speak concerning the significance of Tekno and Runtown to Afrobeats’ crossover success.
He wrote:
