“I Almost Died Before Becoming Famous” – Rapper, Odumodublvck » Naijaloaded

Rising Nigerian hip-hop artiste, Tochukwu Ojogwu, popularly often called Odumodublvck, has recounted how God used Grammy award-winning singer, Wizkid to sign to him that he could be a star.

The ‘Declan Rice’ crooner mentioned he was simply discharged from hospital after a significant surgical procedure in 2022 and mates known as to tell him that Wizkid authorized his music ‘Picanto’ which featured Zlatan Ibile.

He mentioned Wizkid sharing his music on social media was the signal God used to inform him that he would achieve success.

Odumodublvck revealed this on the newest episode of the Body & Soul podcast hosted by singer, Joeboy.

He mentioned,

“You can hear the best way I’m speaking? It’s not due to these (tooth) grills, it’s as a result of I did one operation (surgical procedure). I virtually died however God saved me right here proper now. And the truth that God saved me, all the things that was occurring after that was not stunning.

“Ask my guys, I used to be consuming child meals for 2 weeks. Apart from that, there have been like sixteen stitches in my mouth, bro. The day Wizkid posted my stuff was the day I used to be being discharged from hospital.

“I woke up in the morning, I saw a message at 7 am, I saw Machala…And I checked my Instagram, everybody was sending me that Wizkid posted ‘Picanto’. And that was like, the first thing that God used to tell me that, yo, I’m with you, everything that is going to be happening from here onwards, it’s going to be more than what eyes have seen, ears have heard.”
