James Cameron‘s harsh criticism of the imploded OceanGate submersible, and its CEO Stockton Rush, is pissing off OceanGate’s co-founder … who says Cameron’s simply guessing what occurred to Titan, and has no precise data.

Guillermo Söhnlein is pushing again on the “Titanic” director’s assertion the submersible was “too experimental to carry passengers” … saying it is inconceivable for James to know all the main points.
Guillermo went on Times Radio Friday within the U.Ok., and defended OceanGate and Stockton, saying … “It’s impossible for anyone to really speculate from the outside … I know from firsthand experience that we were extremely committed to safety and risk mitigation was a key part of the company culture.”

Remember, James is blaming the tragedy on Stockton — who was piloting Titan when it imploded — claiming he ignored warnings from the business concerning the security of Titan’s design, after which made issues worse by taking vacationers aboard the vessel.

James, who made 33 dives to the well-known shipwreck, mentioned he and others within the submersible group voiced issues concerning the Titan submersible, however Stockton pushed ahead, undeterred — form of just like the Titanic captain who went full steam forward into an ice discipline.
Guillermo says James’ views are usually not gospel — he says there are differing opinions and views throughout the business about each side of deep ocean dives and submersibles … and, most significantly, he says James wasn’t concerned within the design, engineering, constructing, testing or diving on Titan.
Despite the 5 deaths aboard Titan, Guillermo says this is not the top of OceanGate … he says the corporate wants to research what went improper, and apply these classes shifting ahead.
