An assault charge against Las Vegas Raiders broad receiver Davante Adams has been dropped, in line with a report from the Kansas City Star.
A spokesperson for the Kansas City municipal courtroom stated the misdemeanor charge was really dropped on June 5 and that the case had been closed.
Adams was going through the charge for shoving a cameraperson following a sport against the Chiefs throughout the 2022 season.
Ryan Zebley was working as a contract sideline photographer for ESPN’s “Monday Night Football” when video caught Adams giving Zebley an aggressive shove on his strategy to the locker room. Zebley reportedly suffered from complications, whiplash and a gentle concussion because of Adams’ shove. Adams apologized and stated it was a second of frustration and that Zebley had run in entrance of him on the final minute.
Adams, the Chiefs and Raiders are nonetheless going through a civil swimsuit from Zebley that has but to be heard.
The Chiefs received that Monday night time sport by a 30-29 margin after overcoming an early 10-point deficit. Adams caught three passes for 124 yards and two touchdowns within the sport.
During his first season with the Raiders he caught 100 passes for 1,516 yards and a league-leading 14 touchdowns.
