Nicki Minaj‘s generosity seems to know no bounds. The Queen rapper has kindly offered to help with future tuition costs for a 14-year-old Chicago teen who was arrested with his mother, Carlishia Hood, after a fatal shooting incident.
A video recently surfaced online where Hood was seen being viciously attacked by a man named Jeremy Brown during a heated argument. During the melee, Hood’s teenage son shot and killed Brown, presumably in an effort to guard his mom.
The pair have been going through fees in reference to Brown’s demise — nevertheless, prosecutors have since dropped them. On Tuesday (June 27), Nicki Minaj supplied the younger teen some recognition through her Instagram Story, referring to him as a “hero.”
Minaj famous that the teenager did “what any son would do.”
“That 14-year-old boy that backed [that] hammer out when that grown ass man was punching his mother in the face as if she were a MAN is a true hero,” she wrote. “If he wants to go to college, I’d love to help. It’s what ANY son should’ve done for their MOTHER. She raised a dope kid and should be so proud.
