A girl who owns two outfitters in California was shot and killed by a person who made derogatory feedback concerning the satisfaction flag hanging outdoors her enterprise.
The deadly taking pictures occurred Friday night time in Lake Arrowhead, CA … with regulation enforcement saying the suspect shot the store proprietor, Lauri Carelton, as a result of he did not just like the rainbow flag outdoors her clothes retailer.
Lauri owns the Mag.Pi retailer in Lake Arrowhead and one other in Studio City … and he or she’s been a prime designer in Los Angeles for many years.
The San Bernardino County Sheriff says deputies arrived on the scene of Friday’s taking pictures to seek out Lauri affected by a gunshot wound … and paramedics pronounced her lifeless on the scene.
The sheriff says the killer, armed with a handgun, fled on foot and he was tracked down a few mile away from the shop … with deputies taking pictures and killing him.
It’s unclear if the deadly taking pictures shall be investigated as a potential hate crime, although San Bernardino County Supervisor Dawn Rowe known as the incident a “senseless act of hate and violence.”
Rowe stated in an announcement … “Everyone deserves to live free of hate and discrimination and practice their constitutional right of freedom of speech. Lauri was a remarkable member of the community and I send my deepest condolences to her family in this time of grief.”
Lauri is survived by her husband of 28 years and their 9 kids.
She was 66.
