The Harley Quinn animated sequence has confirmed to be a large hit with followers and so they appear to have been having fun with the fourth season, which launched on Max final month. The large query on the minds of the followers is, will we see a Season 5!?
During a current interview with Inverse, Harley Quinn producers Cecilia Aranovich Hamilton and Ian Hamilton talked about the way forward for the DC animated sequence, and sadly, proper now, Max hasn’t greenlit a new season. Hamilton instructed Inverse:
“Well, we don’t really know at this point. Nothing has been communicated directly to us. As far as we know, he likes the show. You know, he was in it. [Laughs] So we assume he’s a fan of the show. We don’t know exactly where we’re going to go from here… We hope that Season 4 is successful and the fans really like it and James Gunn likes it and we can continue exploring this universe, but this is all we know so far.”
If the sequence continues to do nicely and followers proceed to tune in to observe it, then the possibilities are good that we may very nicely be getting a Season 5. If the sequence does get to dwell on, the producers have promised to take viewers to “new places” and discover “new areas” in Harley and Ivy’s relationship.
The sequence follows Harley Quinn‘s adventures, which began after her break-up with the Joker. The story centers around Harley, Poison Ivy, and other DC castoffs including King Shark, Clayface, and Doctor Psycho, as they try to help each other earn a seat at the biggest table in villainy: the Legion of the Doom. Season 2 ended with Harley and Ivy finally getting together, following Ivy’s failed wedding ceremony with Kite Man.
The voice solid for the present contains Kaley Cuoco as Harley, Lake Bell as Poison Ivy, Alan Tudyk as Clayface and the Joker, Ron Funches as King Shark, JB Smoove as Frank the Plant, Giancarlo Esposito as Lex Luthor, Natalie Morales as Lois Lane, Jim Rash as Riddler, Diedrich Bader as Batman, Tony Hale as Dr. Psycho, Chris Meloni as Commissioner Gordon, Rahul Kohli as Scarecrow, Sanaa Lathan as Catwoman, Vanessa Marshall as Wonder Woman, and Jacob Tremblay as Robin.
