Former Manchester City striker and chairman Francis Lee has died on the age of 79 after a lengthy battle with most cancers. Lee grew to become a legend at Maine Road, the place spent eight years as a participant and 4 years as membership chairman. During his time as a participant at City, he received the First Division title, FA Cup, League Cup and European Cup Winners’ Cup, scoring 148 objectives in 330 appearances. City referred to Lee as ‘a membership legend in each sense’ as they introduced his passing
