NSYNC‘s Joey Fatone has admitted he was “blindsided” by Justin Timberlake going solo.
Fatone, 46, spoke about his time within the iconic boyband and the way they break up after shortly after releasing their hit 2001 album Celebrity, when Justin Timberlake went on to document some solo music and by no means got here again.
“I was not blindsided by the breakup; I was more blindsided as far as him coming out with music and not knowing that he was going to go and do an actual album/tour thing,” Fatone stated in a brand new interview with Yahoo Entertainment.

“It was more of, ‘Hey, I’m going to do some music, and then we’ll get back together.’ That’s what that was. And it wasn’t him – it was the record company,” he defined.
Timberlake launched his debut solo studio album Justified in 2002 which produced hits together with Like I Love You and Rock Your Body.
Fatone stated the band was underneath the impression that Timberlake, now 42, would return to the group.

“We thought he was just going to go out and just come back after the [Justified] tour,” he defined.
Fatone went on to say that he’s grateful about the best way his life and profession panned out, which included Broadway, TV gigs and even appearing in My Big Fat Greek Wedding, saying he’s “happy with it'”
Just three weeks in the past, the boy band thrilled followers as they reunited on stage for the primary time in 10 years on the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards.

The group, consisting of Chris Kirkpatrick, JC Chasez, Justin Timberlake, Lance Bass, and Joey Fatone, introduced Taylor Swift with the award for Best Pop on the ceremony.
“Oh my god,” Swift stated as she bought up on stage and hugged the boys.
“I had your dolls. Like, are you doing something? What is going to happen now?” she requested the group whereas holding her Moon Man trophy.
“They’re going to do something, and I need to know what it is.”
Last month, they formally launched their new single known as Better Place, which is a part of the soundtrack for the animated movie, Trolls Band Together.
Speaking about engaged on the brand new single collectively, Lance Bass informed ET: “It was pretty emotional, the first time we all got in the studio together.”
“Back in March, we decided to, you know, get back together and have some fun and it was like no [time] had passed.”
“But there was there was a lot of tears. It was just tears of joy. And it was just a beautiful moment.”
NSYNC, all of whom who hail from Florida, are identified for hits together with Bye Bye Bye and This I Promise You.
The hitmakers fashioned in 1995 however they confirmed their break up for good in 2007. Timberlake left the band in 2002.
