Queen Elizabeth II held onto hope that Prince Harry would finish his feud with the royal household till the very finish.
According to royal historian Robert Harman, the late monarch needed nothing greater than to see the Duke of Sussex mend his relationship together with his dad, King Charles III, and his older brother, Prince William. He shared in a canopy story printed by People on Friday:
“The Queen adored Harry right to the end, and Harry adored her. I think she was one of the conduits between Windsor and California and it would have been one of her dearest wishes that they patch things up.”

Sources near King Charles echoed related sentiments to People, noting {that a} reconciliation between her family members was most certainly the Queen’s dying want. The insider mentioned:
“You’d think that all members of the family would unite and support the King, especially. Perhaps some wounds can be healed in the process. She knew that conflicts were a part of life, and she didn’t hold grudges. Most of all, she wanted to see her family happy.”
As , Harry and his spouse, Meghan Markle, have grow to be distant from the household ever since they stepped down from their senior royal roles and moved to Montecito, California.
