On Friday, October 13, 2023, Nigerian music icon Wizkid and his household bid farewell to his late mom, Mrs. Jane Dolapo Balogun, in a burial ceremony held in Lagos, Nigeria.
The funeral service was an intimate affair, although pictures and movies from the event have been circulating on the web. The photos depict Wizkid and his household, together with his sons Boluwatife, Ayo Jr., and Zion, gathered round Mrs. Balogun’s casket.
Wizkid appeared on the ceremony wearing a gold agbada, accompanied by his sisters. The casket was adorned with white flowers, and extra white flowers and candles had been positioned on the ground surrounding the casket.
