South African rapper, Nasty C, boldly asserted that he stands at an equal stage with American hip-hop icons reminiscent of Eminem, Drake, J. Cole, Jay Z, and Kendrick Lamar.
In an interview with Dream Media SA, the ‘Zulu Man With Some Power’ singer acknowledged that he can go “toe to toe with any rapper in the world.”
He boasted that he had no competitors in South Africa, claiming that his solely rivals are American hip-hop celebrities.
“I’m not saying I’m the best rapper in South Africa,” Nasty acknowledged. But I don’t assume anybody can beat me in a rap battle.
“I can compete with any rapper on the planet.” I’m up in opposition to Eminem, Drake, J. Cole, Jay Z, and Kendrick. I’m not saying I’m the perfect rapper on the earth. But no rapper can outshine me.”
