As Lindsay continues to recuperate from her heartbreak, she’s remained dwelling in her and Carl’s previously shared $13,000-per-month NYC condominium.
“I live there,” she confirmed. “I love my apartment. I spent a lot of time, money, and effort to make this home comfortable for us, for him to then burn it down. And at this point, I’m not in the mind space to think about, ‘Oh, where am I gonna live now?’”
Although there have been claims that Carl’s sobriety led to his choice to finish their relationship, Lindsay mentioned that was “not at all” an element and added that it additionally had nothing to do with marriage ceremony planning or dishonest.
“Every couple has normal arguments, but nothing that would’ve been so drastic as to break up. It was literally the last two weeks of summer that his demeanor and tone changed,” she defined of what led up to their breakup. “There was a lot of combativeness and aggression on his end, and I was very confused.”
“I think people got in his ear, [but] it’s not normal to call off a wedding because you had a couple of arguments,” she added.

“That’s the hardest part,” she shared. “And even now, if I have feelings that pop up in my mind or heart, it’s more that I lost my best friend than my fiancé.”
