The Majestic Toilets of Thought Bubble Get Their Own Comic Book

The bathrooms of the Majestic Hotel in Harrogate, half of Thought Bubble for the previous few years, now have their very own comedian with Kieron Gillen.

Yesterday, I arrived in Harrogate for Thought Bubble, which has simply kicked off an hour in the past. Last evening, all of us frolicked within the bar of the Majestic Hotel. Originally a Freemason membership, it’s famed at Thought Bubble for having essentially the most majestic and sizeable males’s bathrooms downstairs. And a tiny cubicle for the women – initially, again within the day, for the cleaner. It was a distinct time. These days, individuals hand around in there regardless of gender, there are mini-conventions began there, I made a TikTok there final evening, and now we’re getting a comic book e book all about it. And it began one 12 months in the past.

The thought was a simple one: to tap into the creativity and anarchic joy of the comic-making minds that shared this experience, to try and find an answer to the question of what it is about these specific toilets that has such an allure.”
