President Bola Tinubu has revealed that he checks up on his predecessor, Muhammadu Buhari once in a while since he left workplace in 2023.

He made this identified on Tuesday throughout the e book launch presentation titled; “Working with Buhari: Reflections of a Special Adviser, Media, and Publicity (2015–2023),” written by former presidential aide, Femi Adesina.

Tinubu disclosed that he calls Buhari to ask if he’s alive and nicely, and fascinating in agricultural actions on his farm in Daura, Katsina state.

He mentioned:

“When I call him (on the phone) to say, ‘Are you living? Are you going to the farm?’ you don’t hear from him (Buhari), either to nominate or intrude in the cabinet or complain about issues. Thank you for being who you are.”
