Kolawole Akinsanya has been apprehended by the Ogun State Police Command for his alleged involvement in orchestrating an assault with thugs that led to the loss of life of his neighbor, Lukmon Ajibola, in Ilepa, Ifo Local Government Area.

The tragic incident unfolded on February 5 round 8 pm when Akinsanya’s goat entered Ajibola’s compound and consumed dried yams.

In response, Akinsanya reportedly beat the newborn goat to loss of life. When Ajibola confronted him about this, an argument ensued, and Akinsanya allegedly summoned hoodlums who assaulted Ajibola.

Found mendacity immobile, Ajibola was rushed to Zion Hospital in Ilepa and later transferred to the State Hospital in Otta, the place he sadly succumbed to his accidents.

Akinsanya was subsequently arrested by the police, whereas the accomplices fled the neighborhood. Confirming Akinsanya’s arrest, the State Police Public Relations Officer, Omolola Odutola, assured ongoing efforts to apprehend the remaining suspects.
