IMO Hard Target. Not solely is it a fucking superior film, however it truly has a human facet with loads of emotional scenes. Van Damme is at his best and his athleticism is made for a John Woo movie. The villains, performed by Lance Henriksen and Arnold Vosloo, are amazingly hateble and brutal, the violence is over the high, the motion is extraordinarily nicely directed, the sound results are a blast and the Louisiana soundtrack by Graeme Revell kicks ass and Wilford Brimley is in it enjoying a Cajun. Like I do not see a single dangerous factor in that film, it could simply be one among the best movies of all time.
I first noticed it as a child in 2001. It was on Croatian tv for New Year’s Eve and I watched it with my dad, mother and my cousin. When Van Damme kicked that dude’s glasses off his face in tremendous sluggish mo I practically shat myself due to how superior it was https://youtu.be/445lSDATC4M?t=46
I want we might see the uncut NC-17 reduce of the movie.
EDIT: Not to say that moist mullet.
EDIT 2: And he knocks out a goddamned rattlesnake in a scene that is presupposed to be romantic.
