Rian Johnson actually impressed followers and movie-goers when he launched his 2019 murder-mystery household dramedy Knives Out. We are all wanting ahead to the second installment, Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery, which is hitting restricted theaters subsequent month and Netflix the week of Christmas. When the franchise was introduced over to Netflix, two films have been ordered, and Johnson is ready to make extra.
In a latest interview on the Variety Awards Circuit Podcast, the director was requested about what number of Knives Out films he has in him. He responded:
“If each one of these can really be what Agatha Christie did, if it can be not just in a totally new location and a new cast, but also trying something exciting, I’ll keep doing it as long as Daniel [Craig] and I are having a good time. I’ll keep making these as long as they let me.”
Johnson was then requested if he has plans to ever make his proposed Star Wars trilogy. He made Star Wars: The Last Jedi in 2017 to blended evaluations, and some followers have puzzled if he would do higher in a trilogy all his personal. Johnson commented on it, saying:
“I have talked to Kathy [Kathleen Kennedy] about it and we’re still talking about it. I had such an amazing experience making ‘The Last Jedi.’ It’s entirely a matter of scheduling. For me, putting this [‘Glass Onion’] out and making the next one of these…the answer is I don’t know.”
When requested straight if we are going to definitively see the Rian Johnson Star Wars trilogy sooner or later, he solutions, “God I hope so.”
