An intriguing horror anthology drama sequence is debuting on Netflix this week.

Starting on Tuesday, October 25, the streaming service will debut Guillermo del Toro’s Cabinet of Curiosities, which is scheduled to make its debut as a four-day double-episode occasion. The sequence — previously titled Guillermo del Toro Presents 10 After Midnight — is described as a live-action genre-defining and chilling assortment of distinct tales. It is created and government produced by del Toro, who can also be serving as a co-showrunner.

The sequence is a set of unprecedented and genre-defining tales meant to problem our conventional notions of horror. From macabre to magical, gothic to grotesque or classically creepy, these eight equally subtle and sinister tales (together with two unique works by del Toro) will probably be delivered to life by a workforce of writers and administrators personally chosen by del Toro.

It stars Oscar-winner F. Murray Abraham (Thir13en Ghosts), The Walking Dead alum Andrew Lincoln, Ben Barnes (Shadow and Bone), and Tim Blake Nelson (Watchmen). The directorial lineup contains Panos Cosmatos, Jennifer Kent, Vincenzo Natali, Ana Lily Amirpour, Catherine Hardwicke, Guillermo Navarro, David Prior, and Keith Thomas, with Cosmatos, Kent, and Natali additionally set to put in writing singular episodes. As for the writers, Haley Z. Boston, Regina Corrado, David S. Goyer, Lee Patterson, Aaron Stewart-Ahn, and Mika Watkins have been tapped to pen episodes of the sequence.
