In a serious bidding warfare amongst prime streamers, Amazon Prime Video has landed All Stars, a half-hour comedy sequence starring and government produced by Reese Witherspoon, with a giant two-season straight-to-sequence order.
All Stars follows a former cheerleader from Daytona Beach (Witherspoon) who cons her manner throughout the pond to train cheerleading at a faculty in coastal England and has to present a ragtag group of scholars – and herself – how to be All Stars. The idea for the sequence, which has a little bit little bit of Ted Lasso vibe to it, was loosely impressed by Andrea Kulberg’s story as an American girl from the South who went to the UK to train British teenagers about cheerleading.
