Blake Shelton is leaving The Voice, however that doesn’t imply that he’s going to be smooth on his fellow coaches. On Wednesday (Jan. 25), NBC launched the primary season 23 promo of The Voice, which sees the nation star reflecting on it being his final on the present, and competing along with his fellow coaches, each new and outdated.
The trailer kicks off with Shelton telling a contestant, “This is my last season as a coach on The Voice after 23 seasons.” Kelly Clarkson, who’s making her return to the present, chimes in and provides for the nation singer, “He’s so tired.” Shelton factors to his fellow coaches, which now consists of first timers Chance the Rapper and former One Direction member Niall Horan, and provides, “I am tired of this.”
Shelton additionally acknowledged Horan as a formidable pressure this season, telling the viewers and contestants that “Niall is already stealing my incredible artistic expression.”

And he’s not incorrect — season 22 of The Voice noticed Shelton earn his ninth general win after Bryce Leatherwood was topped champion.
