Dwayne Johnson reveals mother Ata was in horror car crash: ‘She’s OK’

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has revealed his mother, Ata, was in a car crash.

Johnson, 50, shared a distressing picture of his mother’s crushed car, assuring followers that his 74-year-old mum would “survive”.

“Thank you, God, she’s OK,” he wrote. “Angels of mercy watched over my mom as she was in a car crash late last night.”

The Fast & Furious star continued: “She’ll survive and continue to get evaluated. This woman has survived lung cancer, tough marriage, head-on collision with a drunk driver and attempted suicide.

“She’s a survivor, in ways in which make angels and miracles actual.”

TMZ reports that Ata battled stage three lung cancer in 2010, and just four years later in 2014, survived a head-on collision after she was struck head-on by a drunk driver.
