Busted! Multiple members of the Teen Mom franchise have run into hassle with the legislation.
While some, together with Jenelle Evans and Amber Portwood, have posed for the digital camera on a number of events, different stars’ mugshots, together with Farrah Abraham and Adam Lind, haven’t been launched by authorities. (Abraham was first arrested for a DUI in Omaha, Nebraska, in March 2013, and Lind’s most up-to-date arrest was in December 2017 after Chelsea Houska’s ex violated his probation for a no-contact order).
Us Weekly confirmed in January 2022 that Abraham had been arrested once more after allegedly slapping a safety guard outdoors a Los Angeles nightclub. While cops had been initially not referred to as to the scene, a bystander made a citizen’s arrest on the My Teenage Dream Ended writer shortly earlier than EMTs arrived. Amid the incident, the medical professionals referred to as the LAPD for help, who took Abraham into custody and issued her a quotation for the misdemeanor. She was launched hours later and a courtroom date for May was set.
“I will never understand sexism & sexist hatred. To all the men who wish me wrong, I give it to the 1 who created us all. I CARE FOR MEN & WOMAN EVERY DAY EQUALLY,” Abraham, who’s the mom of daughter Sophia with late Derek Underwood, wrote through her Instagram Story on the time. “Why is a male on top of me holding me down when I was walking. This is scary and he should be fired and in jail for [battery]. I’m tired of people harassing me, holding me down, hurting me and [lying] about me … it’s scary, it [affects] mothers, it is traumatizing and I’m hurt.”
Portwood, for her half, was arrested for home abuse towards ex-boyfriend Andrew Glennon in July 2019. (She was launched from custody a number of days later.)
“I really had to go through something terrible in order for me to kind of sit back and say, ‘Hey, this is what I need to work on. This is how I work on it. And no more excuses. It’s time to actually do the job and get it done — one by one and not putting too much on myself,’” the Teen Mom OG star completely advised Us in March 2020. “I think once I started doing it that way and really working hard on it in the best way that I could, I learned to truly, truly love myself in a sense.”
Portwood continued on the time: “My children are my main priority always, even though it might be hard for some people to think that. I truly just try to think of my family, think of my beautiful children and what I need to do next so I can be here for them and be the best mom I can be. I did a major change within myself and within my life in a little less than a year and I am happy. It’s a blessing in disguise as well as one of the hardest times in my life.”
