A brand new Spanish language teaser for “The Flash” has revealed new footage of Supergirl. Check it out under.
The Flash is about to introduce audiences to a brand new model of Supergirl, with rising actress Sasha Calle bringing the DC Comics icon to life. However, DC Studios co-heads James Gunn and Peter Safran don’t but know if Calle is reprising the position for the recently-announced Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow film.
“We’re figuring it all out. We don’t know yet,” the 2 mentioned through the DC Universe slate presentation. “We’re pretty far away from Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow.”
Tom King’s Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow is predicted to function the premise for the DC Universe film, with James Gunn and Peter Safran teasing a “a very different type” of Kara Zor-El. The two defined: “We see the difference between Superman, who was sent to Earth and raised by loving parents from the time he was an infant, vs. Supergirl, who was raised on a rock chip off of Krypton and watched everyone around her die and be killed in terrible ways for the first 14 years of her life.”
The way forward for the DC Universe
James Gunn and Peter Safran advised journalists that their imaginative and prescient for the DC Universe consists of locked scripts, wiggle room and a unified storyline throughout movie, teleivsion, animation and online game initiatives. The two defined that the DC Universe might deliver again components from earlier DC regimes, that means that their eight-to-year plan shouldn’t be a full reboot.
Shazam! Fury of the Gods, The Flash, Blue Beetle and Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom are at the moment in varied phases of post-production at Warner Bros. Discovery, with all 4 DC Universe films slated to hit theaters in 2023. Will the characters from these films make appearances within the new DCU? Only Gunn and Safran know.
