Jamie Lee Curtis Calls for Matinee Rock Shows

Do you need daytime concert events? Jamie Lee Curtis, the revered Hollywood icon and scream queen of the Halloween franchise, lately referred to as for matinee rock exhibits so she will see Coldplay at 1PM.

That’s as a result of Curtis goes to mattress early, round 7PM, as she tells the Today present in a phase that aired earlier this week. With that schedule, she’s unable to catch nighttime gigs that usually can be simply getting began as she’s going to sleep.

“Why are there no matinees?” Curtis asked Today‘s Savannah Guthrie and Hoda Kotb, per Stereogum.

“I like the morning,” the actress said, so she’s “difficult musicians to do concert events throughout the day.”

“For occasion, I like Coldplay,” Curtis continued. “I’d like to go see Coldplay.”

The problem is, “I’m not gonna go see Coldplay if they begin their present at 9 o’clock and there is a gap act,” she added. “I need to hear Coldplay at 1PM. I believe if we crammed a stadium with individuals who need to see matinee of Coldplay, I believe we might begin a pattern.”

Should There Be Daytime Rock Shows?

Do you agree with Curtis about matinee shows? Do you think there should be daytime rock and metal concerts? Curtis may be forgetting about midday music festivals. Not to mention the fact that many people work during the day and bands don’t only play on weekends.

Still, we get what she’s saying about matinees. If a performance in a theater or a showing of a movie can take place during the daytime, why couldn’t a regular rock gig start in the afternoon too?

Luckily for rock and metal fans, there are plenty of rock concerts to catch this year. But naturally, save for the expectedly sunny nature of festivals, most of them will take place at the usual time.
