‘Hear Us Niantic’ Trends On Social Media In Response To Pokémon GO Remote Raids Update

Last week, Niantic introduced it will be growing Pokémon GO Remote Raid Pass costs and limiting day by day participation.

It’s not gone down nicely with the group, and though Niantic has already talked about how this replace will certainly be going forward on sixth April, the group has now responded on social media with its personal hashtag ‘HearUsNiantic‘.

In a two-part message to Niantic, the Pokémon GO group asks Niantic to rethink the replace as they consider it’s going to “harm” the next gamers:

– “Rural trainers who lack adequate local community support”

– “Trainers with disabilities who physically cannot get outside to play”

– “Trainers who’ve extreme social anxiousness who wrestle mentally to get outdoors to take part in in-person raids

– “Trainers who work night shifts and cannot participate during the day”

– “Single-parent trainers who are managing children, a household and a career with minimal time to spare”

– “And most importantly of all, the Remote Raid changes will limit our global interaction with our trainers who we have developed tight bonds with over the last 3 years.”

Speaking to Eurogamer lately, Pokémon GO VP Ed Wu talked about how the change was crucial for the “long term health of the overall game” and Niantic’s personal rules of encouraging gamers to get outdoors and discover the world collectively.
