The Gaslight Anthem have shared their first new song in 9 years with “Positive Change.”
The uplifting and raucous monitor, produced by Peter Katis (The National, Interpol, Kurt Vile), is the first single from their very own Rich Mahogany Recordings label (through Thirty Tigers) and options winding guitar riffs and gritty, uncooked vocals from bandleader Brian Fallon.

“‘Positive Charge’ began as a message of joy to ourselves and to our audience,” Fallon mentioned in a press release. “The central theme is about trying on the stuff you’ve come by and feeling such as you need to go forward with an open coronary heart towards the long run, believing that the very best years aren’t behind any of us and the great we’ve got is price one thing.”
The Gaslight Anthem are set to head out on a spring headline tour beginning May 1 in Houston, TX. They’ll also be hitting the Midwest and West Coast for shows this September and October, kicking off the run at the festival Bourbon & Beyond in Louisville, KY.
