The second wave of the thirty fourth annual GLAAD Media Award winners was introduced on Saturday night time in New York City, with Netflix’s Heartstopper successful for Outstanding Kids & Family Programming – Live Action.
The LGBTQ+ romance collection primarily based on Alice Oseman’s webcomic, which follows the love tales of teenage BFFs-turned-boyfriends Nick Nelson and Charlie Spring and their friends, acquired rave opinions upon its launch in 2022. The second season premieres on Thursday, Aug. 3.

Plus, Maren Morris acquired the Excellence in Media Award and Jonathan Van Ness acquired the Vito Russo Award through the ceremony hosted by actor Harvey Guillén (What We Do within the Shadows).
