Lloyd Banks has responded to Murda Mook‘s claim that he stole some of his bars.
During an appearance on The Danza Project last month, Mook talked about battle rap previously being a taboo topic and how “big rappers” would quietly watch them perform.
“Battle rap in the beginning was taboo to mention,” he said. “And I never forget shit, I never forget y’all n-ggas. All y’all n-ggas, the rappers, the quote unquote large rappers that watched us however by no means wished to say it.
“N-ggas used to watch- like, it wasn’t cool to say it. It was these, ‘Oh, them battle rapping ass n-ggas,’ however n-ggas used to look at it.”
When the host introduced up rappers stealing lyrics from battle rappers, Murda Mook talked about Lloyd Banks.
“Lloyd Banks is my guy, but he took two of my bars,” he stated. “I told him. He know, he know it. But, nevertheless, y’all can find it later. Find the bars later.
“It was just nice regardless, though. I’m not saying it’s like that. He probably thought, ‘Nobody gon’ see this battle rap shit, right?’”
However, Lloyd Banks doesn’t agree with Murda Mook. The former G-Unit rapper got here throughout the video on Instagram and responded with a cap emoji within the feedback.
Lloyd Banks has praised Murda Mook previously, reposting a video of the Harlem rapper spitting bars on his Instagram web page in 2018.
Murda Mook has criticized different rappers through the years, ranting about Drake participating in a URL battle rap occasion in 2021.

Lloyd Banks launched his newest album The Course of the Inevitable III: Pieces of My Pain in April, which included options from Method Man, Tony Yayo, Cormega, Dave East, Vado and 38 Spesh.
The challenge is certainly one of three albums Banks has launched in three years, following the primary two albums in his The Course of the Inevitable collection.
