Actress Kim Cattrall introduced she could be becoming a member of the Sex and the City reboot And Just Like That this week after initially refusing over a feud with former co-star Sarah Jessica Parker.
Now, a TV insider has revealed why she determined to make a return as her much-loved character Samantha.
Speaking to The Sun, the insider claimed Parker and Catrall’s “bust up” was “one of the most sensational in showbiz”.
“Both leading ladies [were] involved in a stand-off lasting years” – and Catrall wasn’t invited again to the present.
“But many fans said it just didn’t feel like Sex And The City without the woman who gave the series more sex than any other character,” the supply mentioned.
“And Kim will little doubt have realised that this may now be the largest job of her profession – a truth she has most likely reconciled herself to.

“So what followers have ended up with is sort of assured to delight them, even when it is an uneasy truce for the actresses themselves.”
Fans had been shocked when the information of Cattrall’s return to the Sex and the City franchise was introduced earlier this week, in the type of a cameo in season two.
A supply advised Variety that Cattrall will likely be showing in a single scene, managing to have shot her dialogue in New York City on March 22 with out making contact with the different stars of the present.

Though her character, Samantha Jones, was spoken of in the first season of the reboot, the second season will allow fans to hear her in a phone conversation with Parker‘s Carrie Bradshaw.
Cattrall played a significant role in the two movie spin-offs of the groundbreaking series that ran on HBO for six seasons from 1998 to 2004.
