We have a date and a few first-look pictures for the Monk follow-up film. Mr. Monk’s Last Case: A Monk Movie starring Tony Shalhoub in a reprisal of his titular function, will launch December 8 on Peacock.
Along with Shalhoub, the film options a number of of the collection unique forged together with Ted Levine, Traylor Howard, Jason Gray-Stanford, Melora Hardin and Hector Elizondo. New forged members embrace Caitlin McGee (Home Economics) as Molly Evans and James Purefoy (Sex Education) as Rick Eden.
In the follow-up film, Monk, an excellent San Francisco-based detective with obsessive-compulsive dysfunction, returns to resolve one final, very private case involving his beloved stepdaughter Molly, a journalist getting ready for her marriage ceremony.
The film is created, written and government produced by the unique collection artistic staff, Andy Breckman. David Hoberman, Randy Zisk, who additionally directs, and Shalhoub additionally government produce. The studio behind the film is UCP, a division of Universal Studio Group.
