A24 is ready to adapt A Visit From the Goon Squad and Candy House, primarily based on the best-selling novels by Jennifer Egan. Olivia Wilde (Booksmart, Don’t Worry Darling) is hooked up to direct, and can even government produce together with Jennifer Fox.
A Visit from the Goon Squad gained the 2011 Pulitzer Prize and is a set of 13 interrelated tales with a big set of characters all related to Bennie Salazar, a file firm government, and his assistant, Sasha. Her bestselling 2022 follow-up novel The Candy House revisits a few of the characters and their progeny.
Wilde’s subsequent venture she’s hooked up to direct and develop is an untitled Marvel movie centered on Spider-Woman for Sony, and Pascal Pictures and is creating a Christmas buddy movie at Universal that she can even direct.
