David Muir’s family legacy was placed on show on the Everson Museum of Art in Syracuse just lately, due to their long-running exhibition of his uncle Doug Muir’s famed work in images.
The ABC News anchor, 49, was full of delight when the exhibition opened again in May, reuniting with members of his family in his hometown of Syracuse, New York to kick issues off.
Now, over a month later, the gallery, titled Doug Muir: Coming Home, can be coming to an in depth, with David taking to his Instagram Stories with a uncommon personal message on behalf of your entire family.
“Last day to view – what an extraordinary run at the @eversonmuseum,” he wrote. “The Muir family is grateful to the community and most of all to the tireless team at the Everson Museum of Art.”
Alongside his message was one of the images from the exhibition, an lovely shot of a younger David in 1976, when he was only a three-year-old, sporting a bowl reduce whereas shielding himself from the digital camera.
The images can be on show on the Everson Museum until September 3, though a couple of will stay as half of their everlasting assortment. A majority of the late Doug’s works are housed on the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art.

“We announced the first annual Doug Muir Photography/Art scholarships honoring the next generation of artists in the Syracuse City School District and surrounding community.”

Doug was famend for his pictures that spanned a number of many years and a spread of outstanding occasions, from the Vietnam War to Mick Jagger’s notorious altercation on the Syracuse War Memorial in 1966.
