Back in 2014, author Dan Abnett and artist I.N.J. Culbard launched Wild’s End, a comedian collection about a rural neighborhood of anthropomorphic animals invaded by aliens. Think War of the Worlds meets The Wind in the Willows. Now, after a five-year hiatus, BOOM! Studios has introduced that the duo are reuniting for one more Wild’s End collection.
Here’s how the writer described the collection:
Out at sea throughout the invasion, our intimate crew of unfortunate voyagers returns to a world they as soon as knew, now occupied by an invading alien pressure!
For the first time since 2018, return to an anthropomorphic England with a new solid of characters in the Wild’s End canon. New readers and outdated readers alike will love this new leaping off level for the cult traditional collection which has been described as War of the Worlds meets Wind in the Willows.
Abnett expressed nice enthusiasm about returning to the world of Wild’s End:
