ACE Eddie Awards Winners List

UPDATED: Oppenheimer took the marquee Best Edited Feature Film (Dramatic) honor and The Holdovers landed the highest Best Edited Feature Film (Comedy) award on the 74th ACE Eddie Awards Sunday. Hosted by Nina West, the winners had been introduced stay in a ceremony at UCLA’s Royce Hall.

TV winners included the editors behind FX’s The Bear and CBS’ How I Met Your Father on the comedy facet and HBO’s The Last of Us on the drama facet. Blue Eye Samurai has taken the dignity for Best Edited Animated Series and Couples Therapy for Best Edited Non-Scripted Series.

Netflix’s Beef gained for Best Edited Limited Series and Reality took the non-theatrical documentary honor.

Editors behind Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour took the award for Best Edited VarietyTalk/Sketch or Special.

Stephen Lovejoy was the primary award recipient of the evening with the beforehand introduced ACE Heritage Award. Kate Amend, launched by Lisa Gay Hamilton, acquired the primary awarded lifetime profession achievement honor of the night. George Lucas launched Walter Murch for the second awarded lifetime profession achievement honor, calling Murch “a renaissance man, the most amazing intellectual, curious person I’ve ever met.”

A quartet of honorees acquired profession awards from the American Cinema Editors. The ever-quirky writer-director John Waters acquired the ACE Golden Eddie Filmmaker of the Year Award, recognizing a filmmaker who exemplifies distinguished achievement within the artwork and enterprise of movie.
