Alec Baldwin can be charged with involuntary manslaughter almost two years after by chance firing a prop gun that killed a manufacturing assistant again in 2021.
O Thursday, prosecutors stated the Oscar-nominated actor was charged within the taking pictures dying of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the New Mexico set of the Western film “Rust” on October 21, 2021, NBC News reviews.
Baldwin, Several Other Production Members Charged In Connection To Cinematographer’s Shooting Death
Several different members of manufacturing have been already equally charged.
The movie’s armorer who was accountable for weapons on the set, Hannah Gutierrez Reed, was additionally charged with involuntary manslaughter, based on New Mexico First Judicial District Attorney Mary Carmack-Altwies.

And “Rust” first assistant director, David Halls, agreed to plead responsible to negligent use of a lethal weapon, per Carmack-Altwies’ workplace.
Hutchins, 42, was fatally shot almost 15 months in the past through the filming of “Rust.” Baldwin had been rehearsing with a pistol for a scene set inside a church when the firearm went off, killing Hutchins and wounding the movie’s director, Joel Souza.
Hutchins is survived by her husband, Matthew Hutchins, and their 9-year-old son, Aldous.
