Alicia Keys’ musical, Hell’s Kitchen, will come to Broadway this spring.
The musical, which includes a rating by Keys and a e-book by Kristoffer Diaz, made its world premiere on the Public Theater this fall and is at the moment working there via Jan. 14. The present will switch to the Shubert Theater on Broadway beginning March 28, with a gap night time on April 20.
Hell’s Kitchen additionally options music consulting by Tom Kitt, choreography by Camille A. Brown and path by Michael Greif. Who are we becoming?” Keys mentioned. “The score features new songs that I’m really excited to get out into the world alongside many of my album releases that you know but you’ve never heard like this – rearranged and reinterpreted.”
The Broadway forged has not but been introduced. The Off-Broadway forged consists of Shoshana Bean, Maleah Joi Moon, Brandon Victor Dixon, Kecia Lewis, Chris Lee and Vanessa Ferguson.
The inventive group consists of scenic design by Robert Brill, costume design by Dede Ayite and lighting design by Natasha Katz.
The musical takes over the Shubert Theater from Some Like It Hot, a finest musical nominee final season, which introduced it would shut Dec. 30.
