Golden Globe-nominated actress Alicia Silverstone (Clueless, The Baby-Sitters Club) bought collectively together with her co-stars from Clueless on the current conference, ’90s Con. When viewers members got the chance to ask the panel questions, one individual requested Silverstone if she would ever need to reunite with current Academy Award-winning actor Brendan Fraser to make a sequel to their 1999 comedy Blast From the Past.
Silverstone responded:
“With Brendan? I would do anything with Brendan. It was so much fun. I just saw Brendan after he won his Oscar and he’s so cute. He talked in his speech about how we all go through this really hard time and you have to grow and it’s part of life that you struggle and then look what happened to him! So yes, I’m happy to do that.”
Blast From the Past starred Fraser, Silverstone, Christopher Walken, Sissy Spacek and Dave Foley. It follows a 35-year-old man (Fraser) who spent his complete life dwelling in a fallout shelter constructed by his father (Walken), who believed the world was coming to an finish. As he emerges into the trendy world, he meets Eve (Silverstone), who opens his eyes to a complete new life.
I might love to see a sequel to this film! The first one is so cute, and I’d truthfully love to see this pair reunite. Would you watch a sequel to Blast From the Past?
