Last week it was revealed that the favored horror sport Dead By Daylight was getting an Alien crossover. We’ve bought a brand new trailer to share with you immediately from Behaviour Interactive that reveals Ellen Ripley and the Xenomorph shall be playable characters!
The trailer exhibits Ripley waking up from Hypersleep, and as she will get as much as see what’s happening, she sees that she’s crash-landed on a mysterious planet. We additionally see that the Nostromo ship wreckage is the setting of the sport, and whereas exploring that she sees comes throughout some nightmarish horrors and comes head to head with a killer Xenomorph.
Mathieu Côté, Head of Partnerships for Behaviour Interactive acknowledged: “Alien has been and continues to be one of the best sci-fi stories ever told — and to be able to collaborate with 20th Century Games on bringing this story into Dead by Daylight is a privilege for all of us at Behaviour Interactive.”
I like that Ripley is a playable character! Now, she doesn’t appear to be Sigourney Weaver, however that is the model of the character we’re getting for the sport. I don’t assume followers will complain… or will they?
Dead By Daylight: Alien will launch on August 29.
