Amanda Seyfried gave Mean Girls followers fun together with her newest Halloween costume.
āIām a mouse,ā the actress, 37, captioned a selfie that confirmed her carrying grey mouse ears. Seyfried ā who shares daughter Nina, 6, and son Thomas, 3, with husband Thomas Sadoski ā posed subsequent to somebody wearing a bear masks.

The caption and costume, in fact, reference the 2004 comedy. Mean Girls includes a Halloween sequence wherein new scholar Cady Heron (Lindsay Lohan) learns that scary costumes arenāt what teenage ladies usually put on on Halloween.
āIn the regular world, Halloween is when children dress up in costumes and beg for candy,ā she explains within the movie. āIn girl world, Halloween is the one night a year where a girl can dress like a total slut and no other girls can say anything about it. Gretchen Wieners (Lacey Chabert), clad in a leather-based costume and cat ears, arrives at Karen Smithās (Seyfried) home earlier than the Halloween social gathering. Karen opens up the door in an attractive black nightie with mouse ears. āWhat are you supposed to be?ā Karen asks.
āIām a mouse. Duh,ā Karen says.

Unlike Karen, Seyfried opted to pair her mouse ears with a comfortable navy sweater.
While Seyfried now has a stacked resume with main roles in Mamma Mia!, Les MisĆ©rables and The Dropout, Mean Girls was her first film. Sheād solely been on cleaning soap operas All My Children and As the World Turns prior.
āI think the reason I got Karen was because I played that person in high school in order to stay out of drama,ā Seyfried instructed Vanity Fair in February. āIt was a much easier transition into playing Karen from where I was at in my life at that point. I was only 17, so high school was like right there.ā

It isnāt identified if Seyfried will make a cameo within the adaptation of the Broadway musical, however she teased that she was hopeful earlier this yr. āItās been a long legacy for Mean Girls and I think we all kinda need to hang,ā she instructed Entertainment Tonight in February of her former castmates, noting sheās āstill hoping for a miracleā relating to returning for a cameo.
