The Ghosts group introduced on social media at present: “After 5 unimaginable years haunting the halls of Button House, we’ve got determined that the time is true to let our beloved sitcom Ghosts relaxation in peace. We have simply wrapped filming on our fifth and closing sequence and we won’t wait to share it with you all later this 12 months.
“We may by no means have imagined the reception the present has loved, or the enjoyable we’ve got had making it, and we want to thank our superb forged and crew in addition to everybody at BBC Comedy, BBC One and Monumental Television for his or her tireless assist
But most of all we’d like to thank everybody who watches. Mathew, Martha, Simon, Jim, Laurence and Ben x”

We can’t thank the Ghosts team enough for five incredible series (not to mention some perfect Christmas Specials) and we can’t wait for BBC viewers to see the final series. Ghosts stars writers and creators Mathew Baynton, Simon Farnaby, Martha Howe-Douglas, Jim Howick, Laurence Rickard and Ben Willbond, with Lolly Adefope, Charlotte Ritchie and Kiell Smith-Bynoe.
In the upcoming fifth sequence Alison (Charlotte Ritchie) and Mike (Kiell Smith-Bynoe) start exploring different means of creating ends meet and ponder a brand new chapter that would have an enormous impact on the Ghosts’ (after) lives.
The fourth sequence launched in Autumn 2022, and has been nominated for a BAFTA for Best Scripted Comedy. It was the largest comedy sequence of the 12 months by way of audiences throughout broadcast TV with 5.7 million viewers tuning in for episode 1 (30 days information).
