Netizens have taken to numerous social media platforms to precise their anger, after Anikulapo, a film by Kunle Afolayan was rejected by the Oscar Award committee in Nigeria.
This comes after Anikulapo was disqualified from the nomination checklist of the Academy Awards, higher often called the Oscars.
The world reception that Kunle Afolayan’s Anikulapo has obtained since its launch, the Academy Awards doesn’t deem it worthy to make its nomination checklist.
Expressing his disappointment on his Instagram web page moments in the past, Kunle Afolayan wrote:
Since then, the information has angered a variety of Nigerians and even followers worldwide.
One Tee music responded saying “Their validation isn’t wanted baba mi, simply maintain doing your individual issues sir, it’s a masterpiece, I discovered rather a lot watching this…. “
