The Book Industry Charitable Foundation (BINC) introduced they are going to be providing two $750 scholarships to comedian e-book retailer house owners and their staff to attend the Diamond Summit in Dallas, Texas, on June seventh and ninth. The funds could also be used for journey, substitute wages, lodging, and meals.
On the scholarship, Kathy Govier, Chief Marketing and Communications Officer at Diamond, mentioned, “We are thrilled that Binc sees such value in our programming and the summit’s networking opportunities that they are supporting retailers who could otherwise not attend. Their continued support of the comic industry and our retail partners is unmatched.” Binc’s Executive Director, Pam French, mentioned, “We are proud to offer this professional development scholarship to comic retailers and the for a second year.
