Then we thought, ‘How do we beat the second one?’ There’s less pressure now. People are gonna listen to this, so let’s make sure we like it because if we don’t, we’d be doing it for the wrong reasons. It’s important for us to stay true to who we are and make a statement that makes us feel good about what we’re doing. Ultimately, what we’re showing the world and sharing with everyone needs to mean more to us than it ever did before, nowadays especially.”
