The Atlanta Braves have been formally eradicated from the postseason on Thursday evening, dropping Game 4 of the NLDS to the Philadelphia Phillies by a 3-1 margin.
While that recreation was the official finish of the season, they appeared to take themselves out of the collection sooner or later between Games 2 and three.
That was when it was made identified that Braves infielder Orlando Arcia was reported to have been strolling across the locker room saying, “Atta boy, Harper!” to mock Phillies famous person Bryce Harper for being doubled off first base to finish Game 2 of the collection.
That grew to become a rallying cry for the Phillies, and it grew to become a degree of frustration for the Braves as a result of consideration it acquired.
When Harper homered twice in the Phillies’ Game 3 rout, he stared down Arcia as he circled the bases, clearly very conscious of what was mentioned.
The Braves, nonetheless, appeared extra involved that Arcia’s remark was made public and spent the following two days pushing again about how their locker room sanctuary was violated.
Travis D’Arnaud appeared fully defeated speaking about it following the Game 3 loss, and it remained a speaking level going into Game 4 on Thursday.
