Bruce Springsteen is teasing an announcement tomorrow morning (Sept. 29) through his social media, and whereas no particulars have but been confirmed, it appears The Boss is about to disclose a long-rumored new album that includes basic soul covers.
The newest teaser incorporates a static picture of an outdated automotive radio, with the audio recorded as if an unseen listener was turning the dial by means of static to a distinct channel each few seconds. Brief snippets may be heard of Springsteen performing Frank Wilson’s “Do I Love You (Indeed I Do),” Tyrone Davis’ “Turn Back the Hands of Time” and The Commodores’ “Night Shift,” itself a tribute to the late Jackie Wilson and Marvin Gaye.
